Does anyone know about federated financial ?their home office is in florida.they have an a rating with the better business bureau.i have not dealt with them personally, just wonder if anyone has suesu22

I have Sue. They have been fantastic. Started with them 2 months ago...I had to make a payment to them at first to start the program, then the next one went right to my creditors. They even called me to let me know they got the payment, that the creditors will be paid & that they accepted the proposals.

Any more questions about them please feel free to send me a PM (private message).

I signed up with Federated Financial in 2006 to consolodate my credit so I could pay it off within a 4 year period. I was not in default on any of these bills and was in good standing with my credit. I didn't own a home, so this was a way to consolodate and get out of debt faster.

My only issue with Federated Financial is that you have to pay with a money order every month. They do have a 'pay online' plan, but it costs 10.00/month and if you figure a 4 year contract, that is almost 500.00 extra. On month 2 years ago, my payment got lost and I did not get notified by Federated for several weeks and by then, my payments were late and it cost me on my credit score. Had I been notified sooner, I would have paid the 10.00 fee to have them deduct from my account and my payments would not have been late.

Other than that, Federated Financial has been pretty good and the best thing I ever did. As long as you make your payments every month, it works.

They have been handling my accounts for 15 months and didn't send a payment to the highest interest rate creditor. I wasn't notified until the creditor sent me notices that the account is delinquent and was being sent to collections. After 1 month of overdraft fees totalling over $300, they were unwilling to assist in paying those fees and claimed they sent the payment and the us mail lost it. They don't return phonecalls or budge on any mistakes they make. Don't recommend them.

I've been in Federated Financial's program now for nearly 2 years now & I'm doing great with them.

There have been months when i couldn't send in the whole payment on my due date...whatever I sent in they disbursed the payment to the creditor whose due date was first. Then a week later when I sent the rest in that was applied.

Only once since I've been in the program did I find payments were disbursed too slowly-which resulted in a call from my creditors. I called FF & they said they would look into the situation & call me back. They never called back but the situation was fixed!

This is my fifth (and last) year that I have been with Federated Financial. They are the best decision my husband and I ever made! There have been a couple of times our payment was late, but by calling them and letting them know what was going on, we were kept in the program. They are upfront about everything and are clear about your responsibilities. Our credit scores have gone up over 100 points and we're now getting ready to buy our first house, something I didn't think we would be able to do this soon. If our payments were late, we were told to let the creditors know that our payments were on the way and refer them to FF to verify we weren't just trying to skip out on paying. Most creditors are very welcoming to FF's kind of consolidation program, and it helps lower your interest rates. I highly recommend them to everyone.
