Yes getting out of debt is possible. I have learned over the past few days there are various programs that is going to debt on what your issue is. for my family we were more concerned with getting rid of the amount of debt which we had "proudly can state HAD" $63,911 in cc debt have been in the program for 2 years and only have 1 credit card left to settle. this is an exciting feeling.

If your concern is interest rates then you could look into a debt managemnt or credit counseling program. I could not afford the monthly payments to this program because they help with reducing interest rates. when I looked into it the payments were only saving me like $50 per month, that was not enough for my budget.

I will be happy to share my experience with you can be reached at email removed for your protection - Goudah

Doesn't debt management have a bad impact on your credit score. I have $40,000 in cc debt but I have a pretty good credit score, over 700 because I've never been late on a payment. They are very difficult to make and I can only make the min, but they are always on time. If I keep making the min payment it will take me 45 years to pay off and over $70,000 in interest. I guess a debt management program would work. Just nervous to start one and scared they will steal money. I've heard so many horror stories. Good luck to you all.

Debt management doesn't hurt your fico score. It does show on your report that you are in a program so it would be harder to acquire credit until you complete it. Once you finish the program it comes off your report.
