They have called my house probably 10 times on Saturday telling me I was approved for a $1,000 line of credit. I repeatedly told them I was not interested and to quit calling but they just continued. My daughter said they have called already 8 times this morning. When I tell them I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, they hang up but then they end up calling back. Anyone know anything about these people and how do I get them to stop??? I am on the Do Not Call list and have reported them there but they also call from several different numbers.

From what I have read XPA services is a messaging service used by companies to repeatedly telemarket. Is it an actual voice saying they are with XPA or a tape that comes on first?

Some machine telemarketers will ask if you want to be removed from their calling list press a number. Have you actually listened to the message all the way through to see if they offer that option. I have done this with a credit line service as well. It worked for me. The auto dialing soliciters can be a pain sometimes  Good Luck :P

No, it is a live person but a different live person each time. When you first answer, there is silence and then a person comes on the phone. They do not actually say they are from Xpa. This is the name that shows up on the Caller ID. Come to think of it, I think they said something about being approved by Cambridge something or other for $1,000.

I guess I will just start hanging up. Is there any way to get the calls to stop though?

You registered on the "Do Not Call" list and that is about it. It will be hard to block them if they use different numbers. I do not know if phone company block the names of services altogether. Might want to check that out. Lastly, you could report them the police department, but that will probably do nothing unless they are making physical threats :? Don't let it stress you :P
