I recently sent a wage assignment and request for PIF letter to upfront money and they responded to me and said they are not a payday loan company. What do I do now..I filed my complaint with the BBB and FTC, there not licensed to I dont think I have anything to worry about hopefully.

What state are you in? Some state's they don't operate as a payday loan company.

There are no acting CSO's in NY . . . . I'd say you have nothing to worry about from this company. There isn't much they can do to you. PDL's are illegal in NY.

Today I received an e-mail from the BBB stating the upfrontmoney responded. They are trying to say that they are not a payday loan company and what I signed my e signature stating to the terms and conditions in the contract. Also that they dont issue loans but rebates and I am purchasing digital phone cards. what I dont understand is why would you pay a rebate back. Im not sure what to do now but im not paying them another dime I refuse to. If they try to sue me so be it.

they cant sue you they are operating illegally which is why they are lying to the BBB, have you contacted your state AG's office?

Ohhh! They think they are a rebate company!!!

This is good for you! Those "rebate" companies are the most illegal places out there. Many state's have sued similar type set ups. File complaints with your state AG. NY has sued these "rebate" places in the past.

Oh wow thank you, they tried to make it my fault by saying I knew what the agreement was and that I had rebates in the past. Thanks for your help

Almost all of the payday lenders sued by most state's AG's have been these rebate type places because they are blatanly trying to hide their loans as rebates.
