"ACP LAW FIRM" 407-434-0431 - Alternative Dispute Resolution Firm? Yeah right!!

Someone named "Jessica Bechtel" called me from an unknown number and had been calling my family as well claiming they needed to serve some legal papers. She said she worked for US Courier and left a "case number" and the following phone number 407-434-0431.

So I called the number and "Brittany " answered saying that I had a case in their office and told me I took out a Cash n Dash payday loan a few years back and never repaid it. I asked who the "company" was that she represented and she said, "ACP law firm" and that they were an alternative dispute resolution firm based out of Florida but had offices in Georgia and Texas. But I honestly never did take out a payday loan from ANYWHERE, EVER. She said "well isn't this your social and birthdate?" She had them both correct, but I told her I never took out these loans. She said well, we have no choice but to sue you. So I told her to send the papers because I don't know what she's talking about! She got mad and hung up.

I saw a previous thread in this forum claiming that ACP was actually a business called, "Chambers & MClane LLC based out of New York. To take it a step further I went to the Department of State for New York to conduct a business entity search: Here's what I found:

http://appext20.dos.ny.gov/corp_public/CORPSEARCH.ENTITY_INFORMATION?p_nameid=4216934&p_corpid=4214414&p_entity_name=chambers%26mclane%20&p_name_type=%25&p_search_type=CONTAINS&p_srch_results_page=0

So, I connected the dots and I do believe that ACP REALLY IS "Advance Credit Processing". Hope this helps others out there!

Thanks for the information

great info as it is not these losers goal to sue,or arrest.they don't want to hear"send me the papers"or"you'll just have to arrest me".they can't/won't do that.people are are not just getting scared and paying anymore.the number of people who fall for this, and other scumbag scams are dwindling.i couldn't be happier.
