I sent letters to both company's in regards to them being illegal and to stop payments and the response I got back, I am unsure if they will stop or send to collections. Here is the response from both, can someone help....

Your correspondence has been directed to me for review.
We are sorry you are not satisfied with your Plain Green Loan. At this time we have closed your account from further activity.
To further clarify your questions regarding the legality of this loan, Plain Green is organized under the laws of the Chippewa-Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation of Montana (“Chippewa-Cree”). Plain Green is owned by the Chippewa-Cree, and operates exclusively on land owned by the Chippewa-Cree. As such, Plain Green stands as an “Arm of the Tribe,” in the view of the United States state and federal courts. Therefore, loans made by an arm of a sovereign Indian nation are not subject to state law. This is NOT a payday loan.
This letter is written to help you understand that Plain Green and its loan contracts are governed exclusively by the laws of the Chippewa-Cree.
Pursuant to your request, we have removed your contact numbers from our system and we will make no further ACH debits from your account.
Thank you again for your time and consideration.

and.....

Your correspondence has been directed to me for review.

Upon review of your correspondence your account has been closed from further activity.

By way of background, Great Plains is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Indians (“Otoe-Missouria”), a federally recognized Indian Tribe. Great Plains is owned and operated by the Otoe-Missouria Tribe, and operates exclusively on land owned by the Tribe. As such, Great Plains is an “arm of the tribe,” and entitled to the same immunity from state laws as is the Otoe-Missouria Tribe.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.

Great Plains Lending Customer Support

That is what I got from Great Plains back in Oct of last year... I consider that a done deal - print and keep in a safe place.

As for Plain Green - I would consider the same..

Congratulations on both!!! : ) They have both acknowledged your ACH revocation and closed your account from further activity..

On both how much originally borrowed and how much repaid to date?

Then you should be demanding refunds from both -

Great Plains- paid 1399.77 borrowed 1000.00 - they owe you $399.77

Plain Green- paid 2029.50 borrowed 1000.00 - they owe you $1029.50

More than likely will not get redunds, but they should stop all activity on your accounts and issue you PIF's - which is what they have done, print out what they sent you keep in a safe place!! if you wish to double check try logging into both online and see what it says... let me know..

You are done with these two!! :)

just know they owe you,and do not talk to them on the phone.that is what they want.to harrass, threaten, and lie.they locked you out of their system.simple as that.did you file AG,AND FTC complaints?if not do so.basically that is the MO of just about all illegal/tribal lenders.to make it so you can't access the info.again that is common, but do not call them at all.

You are more than likely not going to get a refund from either.. you have your account closed and you are not going to them any more money - time to mark it up as a learning experience and move on..

I am not that concerned about getting a refund just getting out of the mess I got myself into. This site is great for help though. If not for information on here I wouldn't of known what to do.
