Has anyone from MI already gone through the process of fighting back Delbert Services from Michigan?
I have already filed my complaint to the DIFS and AG, as well as closed my bank account and sent a C&D to Delbert Services. As of now, I am just receiving a bunch of phone calls (that I'm not answering) but nothing else.
Should I expect them to hit my credit report soon? I know MI has halted new loans from Western Sky, but does that deem the existing ones sold off to Delbert as illegal now?
For the record, I've paid over $1000 the amount actually deposited to me with this lender.
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
