PDL Assistance Complaints:
Good Afternoon~

Has anyone heard of and/or used the company PDL Assistance, Inc? They also go by PDL Eliminator. They are a PDL consolidation company who do the battleing for you but at a cost (of course). If you have, please let me know how they worked for you as I'm supposed to start on their program on the 31st.

Thank you~

I have heard of them a couple times from this board, but haven't seen anyone really relate their experience with them. Mainly just people asking if anyone has heard of them . . .

I just looked on the BBB . . . Did a search using their address. It came up as Fidelity Reserves Corp, a debt consolidation company.

They have had 61 complaints since Oct 2006. Not saying this is the same company, but I think they are related.

Now, that is not saying they are a bad company. I think the pdl part of their business is new.

I went and looked at the BBB report myself and was actually surprised to see how many "resloved" issues there were. Now I'm confused (again) and don't know what to do. I was really looking to have them help me. As I told you yesterday in another thread, I'm a very non-confrontational personality.

PDL Assistance Complaints:
You know, anyone can file a complaint. Especially when debt cons/settlement companies are involved, a lot of people don't quite understand what the company does and has unrealistic expectations. On the other hand, there are also a lot of rip off debt cons companies.

One thing I did see on their site - You can cancel at anytime, and you will not owe the company any more fees. You would lose any fees already paid.

It's really a call you have to make for yourself - You may also want to check out T&C - Do a search here for that name. Many have used them here. Also Langhorn. These are two similiar companies. Maybe call them up and see if the programs are similiar, and that may give you more of an idea of what to expect.

I was on the phone with them for an hour yesterday. He was gathering all of my information. A red flag for me was they required a $200 Administrative Fee, then he would email me my contract. I even asked him if I could see the contract first and he said that I needed to commit to a date when I could give them the money, my routing and account number. I told him that I will not give anyone my bank account information ever again and he hesitated and said, well I need that from you in order to collect your monthly payments. I told him that I would use a prepaid credit card if I decide to go with them. As our conversation neared the end, it sounded fishy. He told me that he is working overtime by talking to me and missing his son's school activity, then he said that he needs to buy shoes for his kid. That was strange. Regardless, I did not commit to anything. I think they are a scam.

I contacted Langhorne at first.. but they seemd both pushy and pricey. However, I have heard that they do work so it's a personal decision. I have also heard good things about town and country. I def. would not consider the company you mentioned though as it sounds crazy!

I signed up with PDL Assistance back in December and I am very happy with them. I also shopped with Langhorne but they weren't very polite. So far PDL assistance has settled 2 of my loans for almost 30% and 1 local pay day loan for 60 %.They also stopped the harassing calls which really surprised me. I really was scared at first because it sounded too good to be true but thus far they have delivered what they said they would do.
