Concerning Ohio storefronts when new law takes effect...

member profile picture

Does anybody have any information yet concerning the storefronts and their petition to go to the ballot in November? More importantly, should they NOT get the signatures (hope they don't), has anyone heard how they are going to work with all of us who cannot readvance? I heard rumor from one storefront that they will all offer payment plans. Any truth to that?? I keep searching for information online, but I can't find anything...

I read somewhere the Rent-a-centers are going to offer installment type loans. I haven't heard much more than that though.

I have not read anything in the paper yet. I read the Columbus Dispatch daily and there has not been an update yet. I'm sure in a month or two we will hear if they have enough signatures.
