is Mobiloans legal to Florida residents? is it a CSO?

member profile picture

I have defaulted on a payday loan and I was wondering if the loan was legal to begin with. Florida's maximum loan amount is $500 and I borrowed $900. Of course, this happened before I read articles on this forum. I haven't paid anything so far, but my account is closed. Do I just owe them the $500? Or the $900? Help!

You owe principal fees and no interest. They illegal. Follow the link in my signature line.

Do as soaplady says, they are illegal and cannot do anything to you. FL closed its CSO loophole a few years ago so unless they have a license they are illegal.
