I need help desperately!! I have 5 pdls-4 storefront and 1 online.
Storefront:
EZ Payday Advance-575.00
Advance America-575.00
QuikCash-402.50
Payday $ Store-575.00
Online:
Payday One-572.50

This is over 600.00/mo in fees alone and I cannot keep up anymore. Don't know where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You haven't mentioned the state you live in. PDL laws vary from state to state. In case of the store fronts, I think you have to repay in accordance to the pdl laws of your state. In case of internet please check whether it is licensed to lend in your state.

You can also consult our financial coach by calling our toll free number 800 601 1579.

You can also get free credit counseling from one of many financial experts by filling up the "Free debt counseling" form.

Hi there curlygirl1975 and welcome, I am posting the laws for your state below, Kansas requires Internet based pdl's to be licensed by your state. I am assuming that Payday One is the Internet pdl that you have, they are legal therefore if I were you I would contact them and try to make payment arrangements with them. If any of your store fronts are members of the CFSA (The Community Financial Services Association of America) you are eligible for the EPP plan (Extended payment plan), this will allow you to pay these loans off in four equal payments on each payday, but you must request this BEFORE you default.

What if I can't afford to do the EPP? I have 4 store front loans, and between them, it would be around 900.00/mo. There is no way I can afford to pay that much and still be able to pay my other bills. Any other suggestions? If I attempt to make payment arrangements with them, do they have to accept them, or can they turn me over to collections and attempt to garnish? I am very afraid, but cannot keep up anymore. Thanks for help!

I would work with your CFSA members first as they should without hesitation grant you an extended payment plan. Try to keep the others current while you are doing this. As soon as you get one paid off work on the other.

Getting out of this mess is much more difficult than getting in. It will take a complete commitment on your part but it can be done. I started with 13 and I am down to 6. My paychecks are still being eaten up but I am sleeping much better at night knowing I am on the path to recovery.

I was in the same mess with 6 storefront PDLs...I would suggest setting up EPP with 2 or 3 of them (whatever you can afford)...stick with those and make sure you pay each EPP on time. in the meantime, either reloan the others or let them default and work with collections.by then hopefully you will have paid off the EPPs for the first 2. this is the only way to get out of this mess...if you keep paying them only fees you will never get out and you will dig yourself a deeper hole...you can and will get out but it takes time and a tight budget ...hang in there :)

Irony is that most internet PDL's operate from call centers in Kansas.

Ok...will probably try to set up a EPP with one or two of them and let the others default and PRAY that they will accept payment arrangments. This is probably the only thing I can afford to do. I guess I will close down my checking account so they can't try to debit me and get me in a worst fiasco than I have already managed to get myself in. Could somebody please either give me the link, or give me a sample letter of a revocation of wage reassignment letter? The only letter I can find on the website is a C&D letter. Thanks so much for all the help/suggestions. I at least feel like I have a plan of action, which is better than a few days ago. I will keep you posted on how things progress this week, as they are all due on Friday!
