Has anyone been able to get Cash Call removed from credit report with success? I need some help on how to do it. A step by step process will be preferable.

Not to my knowledge. I have been fighting with the CRAs since August 2012 over the reporting and it remains as a paid charge off on my account. The only step I have left is to sue the CRAs but since I am already suing CC/WS, I have to wait on doing that. Their trick is every time you dispute it, they change some minor detail in the reporting so that the CRA comes back and says it is "verified" and it never gets marked as "disputed by consumer". Just this week I sent a letter to the CRAs to add a consumer statement to the account marking it disputed by consumer and indicating the litigation against them. This was the only other route I had available to me at this time. I will keep you posted on whether this gets done or not. It has been a battle with the CRAs -- at some point I will be adding them as defendants in the lawsuit since I am being caused irreparable harm.

What state are you in?

Goody for you!!! Michigan DIFS just initiated an action against them -- http://www.paulickreport.com/news/the-b iz/minnesota-regulators-file-laws...

Call the DIFS and make sure you are on their list of victims and then dispute in writing via mail (never dispute online) with the CRAs indicating that CC is reporting fraudulent and false information and enclose a copy of the DIFS action against them.

Just so you know there is some weird things going on with WS and CC all of a sudden this week....there is a huge hearing in Florida tomorrow and a answers due on federal suit due on Monday and it seems they are doing damage control. This all comes on the heels of several lawsuits being filed against them in the past month.

So I too have filed a complaint with my attorney against Cash Call and Western Sky! Its going to be a long process, but I'm staying positive about the outcome!

One thing I did notice however, is that after months and months, Cash call closed my account as a charge off, but from what I see under one listing it says paid, was a charge off, and the other trade line on another report says charge off. Both balances on the account say zero however. I'm wondering what happened for cash call to zero out my account. Any advice on how to attack the task of getting them totally removed from my credit report!?

This is their normal procedure - they know they can't collect on the illegal loans so they hold your credit report hostage as a charge off in hopes you will pay them. Once you start disputing with the CRAs they make small little changes in the reporting such as changing balance, etc. to keep it as a "verified" reporting. I have disputed 6 times and not one time did it ever get marked as "disputed by consumer". I just sent in a letter to CRAs to add a consumer statement to the account indicating that it is fraudulent and marking it as disputed but instead of that they issued a fraud alert on my profile. That is how incompetent the reporting agencies are. My next move is to sue them for negligence.

Tip with experian, watch your credit report any time that you dispute. Experian doesn't have a Date of last activity field. They use the date status update field. Any time you dispute they update that field to that date, Fico uses that field for FICO scoring. This means in essence Experian after any dispute is re-aging your tradeline. Each time they do that, chalk up another violation for experian!
