Not sure what category this comes under...We had a problem with debts becoming too much and was in a debt consolidation/management program. We could not get a loan for a car under 18% which was ridiculous and it was a necessity to get a car. I purchased the car from a private party and have made every payment on time for the last 3 years. The private party wants to know if there is anyway they can report my good credit history with them to the credit bureaus before the car is paid off in a few months. I think it is a great idea if its possible. Any help for us is appreciated. Thanks!

Does the private party have a business name? If they are a licensed company, they have the rights to report individual credit to the bureaus.

The best thing will be to call the credit bureau and inquire about this matter.
