Equifax has an address on file for me which amounts to gibberish - " RR1 RR1 Box ".
They sent me a letter saying that I can have my credit report as soon as I send them the standard "one proof from the IDENTIFICATION column and one proof from the ADDRESS column" in their list of acceptable documentation. -- showing the gibberish address....
Will sending them the requested documentation showing my REAL (for the last 17 years) address do any good?
Has anyone else had experience with this type of nonsense?

Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
