Has anyone ever dealt with Phoenix debt management? Has anyone been served papers by these people or wage assignment. I can not afford to pay what they want me to. But I don't know what to do they keep calling my office and not my home phone. I can't not deal with them right now. I was told Friday I had to send them 367.00 attention to the owner Charles Lawrence of the company or they would just proceed with the paperwork because they are attorney's and it would be very speedy. Any advice on what to do? Thank you so much so that was all rambly I'm just a bit on edge
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
