A co-worker of mine says someone from Legal Mediation Services, number: (904) 387-3187 just called looking for me at my office. Is this ARM? As I did send a cease and desist as MTE did not validate my debt correctly. Or, is this someone else? All of the rest of my PDL's are in my dmp. Can anyone help?

They are a collection firm that collects on pdl's and think laws are optional.Their contact info is below.

Should I send a debt validation letter? Do I need to do anything else?

If they refuse to validate and continue to collect, that is one violation. If you send c&d,it will be a violation every time they attempt to collect.Gather up your violations and dump them in an attorneys lap.

So, this is going to be a legal matter then?

It becoming a legal matter depends on them. They will not be able to sue you as most every post about them states they don't follow the collection laws. If they don't follow the law it could be a legal matter when you bring suit against them. If you have not already done so,file complaints here:

Has anyone dealt with them before? Do you know what companies they collect for? I thought that it was for MTE as they have a Jacksonville address, but it's not.
