Good afternoon,

Is the above company a scam? They also go under the name of The Cambridge Group. The above company says that they are located in Amherst, NY, but are not located there on the internet. Also, this company is contracted to The Hartford Management Group, LLC. I can't find their address and I need to contact them. Can you help me?

I didn't find any company named Mariner & Associates in the Internet. Looks like a scam company.

I think the above mentioned company is a scam. I searched on internet but couldn’t find any information about this company. Don’t share any personal information with them and keep a safe distance from this scammer.

Sub: #3 This is their address

After months of research this is the address I've come across. I've just mailed a cease and desist letter to them. They've talked to my BOSS about serving me with papers for a debt I've been trying to settle with the original creditor for over a year and they would not work with me to get everything paid off. Do NOT give them any info!

3840 East Robinson Rd, Ste 243

Amherst, NY 14228

P.S.: Call the post office and see if this is also the correct address.

Mariner & Associates/Cambridge Group are one in the same.

I took get phone calls from them and another company supposedly speaking for them, I called them back and gave them the reference number and they wanted my soc sec # and would not tell me any information, i told them by law they have to mail me paperwork to my residence and they have never done so. So I refuse to provide them anything else and told them to feel free to come to my house to serve me papers and I would make sure the sheriff was there to witness it. they refuse to tell me what this matter pertains to but keeps threatening to serve me papers at work and at home. Noone has yet to show up.

We to are having problems. We have asked repeatedly, even with a supervisor to provide the original agreement/contract so we know exactly who what when where is owed. They refused sayin its not their responsiblity and even said stamps are expensive. Are you kidding me? I told them they have a good address for us, use it. They threatened to show up at my husbands work and that he better cooperate. Really? I said we have every intention of paying IF we owe but we need paperwork/bill. He said we sent it once not our problem if you dont receive it. I was getting pushed to the side at every turn. The BBB said they must provide you with paperwork. They have a good contact info so why not use it? I think something fishy is going on.....
