I desperately need some help! I live in CA and I have foolishly allowed myself to get in deep with these outrageous online installment loans and don't quite know how to get out of it. Here are the lenders I currently owe:
Rise Credit - 2 loans (1 me -$3074 and 1 husband-$2825) Cashnet USA - $3700 Cashcall - $2946 NetCredit - $6040 - (Original loan was $6000 and have paid about $5000)
I have stopped ACH debit authorizations on all of these and have continually asked for payment arrangements as I just can't make the minimum payments each month but I'm getting nowhere.
I'm now considering Chapter 13 bankruptcy and wondering if that's the best option or does anyone know if they'll work with a debt management plan. I don't want to duck out of my responsibility but wasn't thinking clearly when I took out these loans. The payment are well over $2000 and I'm drowning. What is my best approach with these sharks? Help!!
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
