I don't know what that person said. It sounds like he was complaining about a particular company. Maybe he was taken advantage of by these people and needed to vent. Debt settlement can be done by one's self. Pick up the phone, call the collection agency and they will offer you a fair settlement, usually 40 cents on the dollar, which is nothing more than a credit counseling company could do and you don't pay fees and get a run around for your money.

Philip, I see you are still selling the same old con game. Hard way to make a living I would say. You must have really needed the money you took from me. Couldn't you channel all that energy into an honest way to help people. You know I am 67, have had two strokes and my only child has brain cancer. Could you get any lower? Dispute this all you like, but I know you are a thief.

They are crooks and will take what little money you may have left, do nothing for you and the end result is you are still in debt and they have their fees. Philip, you can dispute this all you want, but you know what you did. You can lie to yourself, or whatever, but I know you (and he no longer has a partner, Henry Conerly) took over $5600 from me. How do you live with yourself? Deal with the collection agencies yourself. They will usually settle for 40 cents on the dollar and you don't pay fees to a company that will do little to nothing and run with your hard earned cash. The collection companies will treat you respect. All they want is to hear from you and they will settle with you. You don't need PDC or any other credit counseling service.

Be grateful you are not involved with Professional Debt Consultants. They are crooks and will take your hard to come by money and take the high road as his partner, Henry Conerly, did. Philip DiVirglio, I am talking about you, make no mistake about it. This will catch up with you sooner than later. How could you in good conscience take advantage of people when they are already in deep financial trouble. My advice to anyone reading this, deal with the collection agencies yourself. They will usually settle for 40 cents on the dollar and you are not paying fees to men who are thieves and know no other way to make a living. The collection agencies only want to be paid something and will work with you to set a payment schedule. They do treat you with respect.

Count your blessings you did not get involved with these people. They are nothing but crooks and at the end, their fees willl have been paid upfront, which is illegal by the way, do a little something with one of your creditors, so they can say they performed per their agreement with you. You will pay their fees month after month and 3/4 of the way though the agreeded upon date of settlement of your accounts, they will disappear. They sometimes use the name, Premier Financial. Also know, they set up a special purpose account in which their fees go and any payments to your creditors, if you get that far. Know that they personally take withdrawals from that account. If it smells like a rat......

This company is a total scam. Philip DiVirglio and Henry Conerly bilked me out of over $5,000 and got away with it. Henry Conerly, Philip's former partner, took the high road. If anyone else has been taken advantage of by these two, let me know. I know an attorney who is putting a class action together.

I just want to let you know I am a debt collector for a law firm and even though I am a debt collector I try my best to help people when they have a account in our office. When a debtor tell me that they are with a debt settlement company, I try and reach them asap to see if we can come to some type of agreement on there client account. There is a client of yours I speak to alot because I been trying to get through to you company to reach somebody about your client for over four months, but I was unsuccessful of doing that. When I found another phone for your company, I got a Phillip on the phone. He said that he will see what he can do as far as helping getting this account settle and that was in April. I have not heard from him since, and I been leaving message after message and I have contact the debtor about this and they tell me that they don't even here from your company which is a shame. This economy is bad enough and its:confused: terrible that you will treat your client like this. Something need to be done because if all your client get sued the first thing you going to tell them that we try to do something about and knowing that you didn't do nothing at all.

Please make sure you are clear. You are not working with Professional Debt Consultants. You are working with Debt Reduction Center. This post does not belong here. You are making it sound as if the bad experience you are having is with us when in actuality you are working with a company I have never heard of.
