Hi. I am one of the Managing Partners of Professional Debt Consultants. We are a front end company. This means we focus on marketing and sales. We work with Square One Debt Settlement. They are the back end service provider. This means they focus on negotiations and customer service. We work together to provide the best service possible. We are both very reputable companies which you can verify by doing some due diligence. Our job is to explain this program or any other, answer all potential clients questions, look for any problem that could keep a potential client or any one of their accounts from qualifying for a debt settlement program, and, if everything checks out, we act as enrollment counselors. Square One, the back end of our debt settlement program, is the legal, financial, underwriters, negotiations, and customer service. If you were to contact Square One without first enrolling, they would simply refer you back to us or one of their other affiliates to help you determine if this program is right for you.

Please review the following posts before making your choice.

Please make an informed choice before just jumping into on of these places.

All of the things they say they can do you can do yourself, just do the research. Why should you pay money to have it done for you when you can clean it up yourself.

Something funny I just found. This info was pulled from Professional Debt Consultants website.

Quote:
The effect of our debt settlement program on your credit score will partly depend on your current credit status before starting the program. Few people with debt troubles have perfect credit to begin with. In general, your credit score (usually called the FICO score) will decline during the program, and will begin to improve again after you have become debt-free. There are several key points to bear in mind here. We recommend against applying for new credit while going through the program. It simply doesn't make sense to take on new debt while you're trying to tackle your existing debt problem. So the short-term decline in credit score is rarely a problem for clients.

So understand that your score will DROP and not get better. What most of these companies do it offer to settle each accout for less then owed. Which sometimes is a good thing, BUT you will have bad marks on your credit report of 7 (SEVEN) years after the account is paid off, due to account not being paid in full or paid as agreed. Also you might want to make sure that while you are in the program that all payments will be made on time every month. these companies will allow your accounts to go past due for a couple of months that way they can get a "better" settlement offer for you" But they get to keep they extra money becuase you have already agreed on the price of their service.

In which statement? The statment that says their score will decline during the program? or is it the comment "So the short-termdecline in credit score is rarely a problem for clients."
but you fail to mention that the score will stay down with the bad marks for 7 years. 7 years is kind of long term to most people.

I also find it funny that ONE day after this person posts here in these forums all of the sudden you are here signed up and promoting your company.
