anyone have information on the 'debt cures' program that has been advertised? I don't know if it would be worth the money that this book costs, but it looks interesting on the TV ad. Anyone know for sure?

People look around, who continues to gain? Our government! How many people have been treated unfairly in a court of law? If thier words are the evidence to stop you from buying his books, I say trust Kevin. And as far as them offering you the moon, to buy when you call in, they all do it. I had it happen to me too, and it wasn't anything to do with Kevin. It was something else. Pay attention to charges on your checking account. They will reimburse you, they did me. If you get one thing out of the book that helps you, then it is worth it. So please if you have no evidence outside our judicial system, SHUT UP!!!!!!!

:-? listen i bought this book. its useless. a bunch of babble. thats it. you have to use logic here. if you are gettng in a financial trouble start planning. call the creditors ahead of time. most of them will work with you. but they will not work with you if are 30 days late. so dont. as for saving money. use coupons. cut the cable extras. cut going out for dinner and start cooking at home. smart foods. not junk. we have to do what our parents and grandparents did. we are a waste society. that has to change. pay stuff in cash. buy american. buy american.

Reading the first it from the library and has some points. Always educate yourself and don't sign anything until you really KNOW what you are getting into! Checked out Debtor's Annonymous....ok organization but they really don't give any's all very Kumbaya and non-judgemental as far as I see. Like this site I just chanced upon today.

The info provided is common sense and when you try and cancel the revolving 14.95 a month by phone they have technical difficulties. A person must call and get customer service. So DON'T get it. If you want to read the book go to the library, its free!!

I ordered this book. I was very nervous about the order. When it arrived I sent it back via refusal. They keep your money and thier books. $157.00 is how much richer they are for everyone dumb enough to order from them. They also do not have the best reputation in the world.

Sincerely and Beware,

Not happy. Oh by the way they accuse the Post Office of throwing them away, rather than returning them. Postage was over $20.00.

If you want some great financial advice find a copy of The Richest Man in Babylon, it's been in continuous print since the 1920's and is still full of solid advice, including how to get out of debt. And please stop worrying about your credit score, in fact that should be the very last thing on anyone's mind. To even have a credit score number you must be in debt, the greater the debt and the longer you are in it, yes your number will rise, so what, you are paying through the nose for it. And what do you really have to show for all that debt? A house, garage, and rented storage unit full of things you never use? Make a list of all the things you actually use over a months time, most will be the things you use every day, then make a list of all the stuff you have that you didn't use even once.

My mom passed this book along to me so I wasn't suckered into paying anything for it. I've been reading through the book for about a week now, and no I do not have poor comprehension, I just have a life and do not have time to read a book in one sitting.

The first half of the book seems to be pretty repetitive and you definitely get the "hint" that he hates the government. I have to say there are a couple things in the book that I was unaware of but most of it I did already know, but only because I do try to read up on credit scoring and such when I have free time.

Overall, I'd say this book is worth buying for the average person who doesn't know much about your options of getting out of debt. Yes, there are people out there like that and just because no one has ever educated them on the matter it does not mean they should be ashamed to want to learn it now. A lot of people have said it is common information that can be read on the internet. Yes, you can find just about anything you want to know on the internet, but most of us don't have time to do a ton of research. This book puts everything in simple everyday terms for the average person to be able to follow.

Maybe he is a scam artist, I don't know, but I think it's a decent book.
