Would like to know if anyone has had any dealings with Vital Recovery Services? I believe they too are part of the Sherman, LVNV Funding scammers and I would like to have some advice as to how to deal with Vital Recovery Services.

Yes, they are a real company, and are accredited by the Better Business Bureau with a surprisingly high score. Do some research.

I had a debt sent to them and they weren't that difficult to deal with. Of course, no one likes debt collection agencies, but they have a job to do. I can't say that I had a bad experience with them, just a frustrating situation to begin with.

Sub: #3 Call them back and ask them for YOUR pertinent information: addMon, 02/28/2011 - 11:53

Call them back and ask them for YOUR pertinent information: address, SSN, etc. They will hang up.

1-877-347-2082

You will not be called again when you ask the information and account numbers etc that they should have upon request. Just did it and they hung up. They are associated/used to be LVNV.

They are trying to collect a pile of money from me on a property I don't own, which was foreclosed on 2 years ago. The bank had a chance to sell @ $505,000, but opted to auction it off for $300,000. Now they want me to ay the difference. Kiss my ass! That's my answer.

These people are a bunch of unscruplous scheming crooks, who tries to swindle money from innocent citizens and residents. Please do not give them any personal information on your self over the phone. They may be illegally selling people's identity. You may receive several phone calls from them, one minute they are telemarketers, the next they call to inform you that you won a lottery. They may ask you to send money, to collect your prize please do not send them any money. if they keep on harassing you contact the Federal Trade Commission.

I recieved a letter trying to say I owed over $16,000 onan old Auto loan....I am handicapped and have not owned a car since the mid 80's and it was paid off so this has to be a scam, or a ID theft. Will be writing a letter to them, the BBB of Norcross GA, and checking with all 3 credit reporting agencies on phone, not waiting for written info. I own nothing but crap.
