Bank Fraud Victim Center Hoax Calls

Sub: Bank Fraud Victim Center Hoax Calls

the spam trap on my email usually is pretty good at catching most garbage.

But today I got 3 emails in row minutes apart with Bank Fraud Victim Center in the Subject line

One said nothing in the body

One said "test"

And the other one I didn't open, obviously some stupid xxxx (Offensive language removed per the TOS)

anyway a while ago I got another one which I also deposited in the spam envelope.

Now despite my having labeled them spam they still get through

Very odd and suspicious, whatever they want - not getting it from me.

Never having had this occur before and all at once, I don't have any reason for thinking they come from different addresses.

I use Yahoo, or at least that is the account it showed up in. I did add it to my spam/blocked list. Haven't looked at my email yet today so nothing beyond that right now.

Are they coming from the same email address? Just because the name is the same doesn't mean anything. If you know what you are doing, it is very easy to fake an email addy. Check all the email addresses. I am almost sure they are all coming from "different" addresses.
