Is there a sample letter on the board somewhere to sent to the collection agency requesting they remove an old paid off debt? It shows paid in full after collections. It has til mid 2008 before it naturally comes off, but I wll be applying for a loan in a few months and would like it off sooner. thank you.

You could also try your luck at disputing the entry directly with the credit reporting agencies. I believe they have 30 days to verify or delete.
